By creating a dividing line between the private and public spheres, Rorty wants to specify the contribution and involvement of philosophers in presenting theoretical and philosophical views and to say that the political sphere does not need to acquire foundations from the individual criteria of the private sphere. It is as if Rorty wants to prevent the philosopher's ambitions and interference with theorizing by reducing philosophy to literature. In fact, he believes in the distinction between private and public spheres or politics, the philosopher's tool is imagination and his intellectual sphere is literary culture and his place is the private sphere. Assuming the acceptance of pragmatic criteria, doesn't this division of a person in two completely different areas make him a dual personality? Can this intellectual stance be reasonable and acceptable?<br><br> رورتی با به‌چالش‌کشیدن کل سنت فلسفی غرب که به عقیده او باعث دوگانه‌انگاری‌های بی‌فایده نظری در طول تاریخ فلسفه شده، می‌خواهد در بستر "فرهنگ رستگاری‌بخش ادبی" به ساختارشکنی و رفع این دوگانه‌انگاری‌ها مبادرت ورزد. رورتی با ایجاد خط انشقاقی میان حوزه‌های خصوصی و عمومی می‌خواهد سهم و دخالت فیلسوفان را در ارائه دیدگاه‌های نظری و فلسفی مشخص کند و بگوید حوزه سیاست نیازی به کسب مبانی از معیارهای فردی حوزه خصوصی ندارد. گویی رورتی با تقلیل فلسفه به ادبیات می‌خواهد مانع از بلندپروازی‌ها و دخالت‌های فیلسوف با نظریه‎پردازی شود. در واقع، او با تفکیک بین دو حوزه خصوصی و عمومی یا سیاست معتقد است، ابزار فیلسوف تخیل و حوزه فکری وی فرهنگ ادبی و جایگاه او حوزه خصوصی است. آیا با فرض قبول معیارهای پراگماتیستی این تفکیک فرد در دو حوزه کاملاً مختلف از وی شخصیتی دوگانه نمی‌سازد؟ آیا این موضع‌گیری فکری می‌تواند معقول و قابل قبول باشد؟ <br><br> https://jpt.modares.ac.ir/article_23063_8b90da18aa2fee81ae89d07845fcba11.pdf
